We’re excited to announce Florence France has opened in our latest step towards solving the global healthcare staffing crisis.
After working with 90,000 UK care professionals and over 4000 organisations since 2017, we felt it was the right time to take our mission to the next stage in France.
How does Florence work in France?
Just like in the UK, Florence in France connects nurses, carers and support workers with shifts through a free app.
Professionals choose their own shifts, set their schedules and work flexibly, when they want - with no need for agencies.
We also make life better for care providers, with fast and powerful shift-filling abilities giving managers more time to spend on care.
How will we help care?
France is experiencing a post-covid staffing crisis similar to the UK. The pandemic has meant the sector is suffering from possible closures as a direct result of staff shortages.
We believe we can make a difference. By helping to make working lives easier, Florence can keep vital professionals in care. We aim to fill 2,500 care shifts a month before the end of 2023, with over 150 care providers and more than 500 nurses joining us.
